I do not know you but writing infinite repetitions of letters in a black and white paper doesn’t really do for my kids. I am always challenged to find novel ways to practice these critical skills in fun and engaging ways.
Here, I am using the farm sets cards and wooden letters so, my 5 years old can practice her reading and writing. What was nice about this activity is that she has the autonomy of picking the card she wants to work on (self-directed learning) and the wooden letters add a nice tactile element to the exercise too. Add the figurines if you want to make it extra hands on 😊
Play your way and have fun!
